Temporada de premios: Conoce a los nominados al Oscar 2026
La Academia de Hollywood ha anunciado oficialmente los candidatos para la 98.ª edición de los Premios Oscar, consolidando a 2025 como un año histórico para el cine. La ceremonia, programada para el próximo 15 de marzo, tendrá como protagonista a «Sinners», la obra de Ryan Coogler que ha hecho historia al obtener 16 nominaciones, superando el récord de 14 menciones que compartían clásicos como Titanic y La La Land.
La película de terror sobrenatural no solo compite en categorías principales como Mejor Película y Mejor Director, sino que también ha destacado por la doble interpretación de Michael B. Jordan y su presencia en la nueva categoría de Mejor Reparto. En la carrera por la estatuilla le sigue de cerca «One Battle After Another», de Paul Thomas Anderson, que suma 13 candidaturas impulsadas por un elenco liderado por Leonardo DiCaprio y Benicio del Toro.
Por su parte, la ambiciosa adaptación de «Frankenstein» de Guillermo del Toro y el drama deportivo «Marty Supreme», dirigido por Josh Safdie y protagonizado por Timothée Chalamet, han logrado 9 nominaciones cada una.
Una de las sorpresas de esta edición fue la ausencia de Wicked: For Good, la cual no recibió ninguna nominación. Aunque para muchos expertos y fanáticos del musical el hecho resultó una decepción, para algunos analistas las secuelas suelen enfrentar mayores complicaciones para replicar el éxito crítico de la primera producción.
